Working in the entertainment industry for 30 years, and after studying film and television production (School of Visual Arts), sound engineering (School of Audio Engineering), and attending the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, Jayden initially carved out his career in the music industry. As a professional musician, composer and engineer, he worked with many top artists including Hunters and Collectors, Crowded House, 1927 and Margaret Urlich, before finally earning a reputation as one of Sydney's top cocktail pianists.
For the last 20 years, Jayden has focused on film production in broadcast, corporate and advertising. He has written and directed an extensive slate of campaigns for many large-scale clients. He is also Executive Producer of the children’s animated series Buzz Bumble screened nationally on the NINE Network.
In 2017, Jayden found himself in sudden end-stage heart failure after a bout of the flu put him on life-support and in a coma for 2.5 weeks. The team at St Vincent’s Hospital performed emergency surgery and fitted him with an artificial heart, which he lived with for 436 days. In early 2019, Jayden received the most precious gift of a new heart from a beautiful stranger. Jayden has since set up the Forever Grateful Foundation, a not-for-profit social enterprise, and will continue to be a passionate advocate for organ donation through story-telling and social propagation.
Jayden has since been commissioned to write and direct the national campaigns for the Organ Tissue Authority to promote organ donor awareness in both 2019 and 2020.
